Rajasthan Filmfest lauds ‘Katyusha’

‘Katyusha’ has been awarded at the 5th Rajasthan International Film Festival in India.

‘Katyusha’ comedy film has been awarded at the 5th edition of Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) in India.   

Rajasthan Filmfest bestowed Best Film Award to Ali Atshani’s ‘Katyusha’.

The film is about Khalil who is a pious man and famous as Khalil Katyusha. He has to spend some days with Arshia who is a corny loaded guy. The gap exists between their social levels and their worldviews cause some problems.  

'Katyusha' succeeded to gain 4th bestselling spot in 2018 Iran box office chart in the opening week.   

The stars of the flick are Linda Kiani, Mehran Rajabi, Ahmad Mehranfar, Khashayar Rad, Bijan Banafshe-Khah, Arjang Amir-Fazli, Leila Otadi and Hadi Hejazifar.   

‘Katyusha’ previously won an honorable mention at the 2018 edition of the Crossover Film Festival in Virginia, the US.    

The 5-day RIFF is the biggest Academic and Glamour Film Festival in Rajasthan that showcases a diverse, language independent, selection of the best feature films, documentaries and short films from around the world.

The event was held on January 19-23, 2019.
